Nepal Rastra Bank publishes today’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published today’s (Saturday) foreign exchange rates . According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs. 140.65, while the selling rate stands at Rs. 141.25.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is Rs. 165.34 and the selling rate is Rs. 166.05. The UK Pound Sterling is being bought at Rs. 189.79 and sold at Rs. 190.60, whereas the Swiss Franc is trading at Rs. 176.81 for buying and Rs. 177.56 for selling.

For other major currencies, the Australian Dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 92.86 and a selling rate of Rs. 93.25. The Canadian Dollar is being bought at Rs. 101.87 and sold at Rs. 102.31. The Singapore Dollar’s buying and selling rates have been fixed at Rs. 109.51 and Rs. 109.98, respectively.

Among Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is Rs. 9.50, with the selling rate at Rs. 9.54. One Chinese Yuan is being bought at Rs. 19.77 and sold at Rs. 19.85. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of Rs. 37.50 and a selling rate of Rs. 37.66, while the Qatari Riyal is being bought at Rs. 38.59 and sold at Rs. 38.75.

The UAE Dirham is trading at Rs. 38.29 for buying and Rs. 38.46 for selling. The Thai Baht has a buying rate of Rs. 4.41 and a selling rate of Rs. 4.43, and the Malaysian Ringgit is being bought at Rs. 33.43 and sold at Rs. 33.57. The buying rate for 100 South Korean Won is Rs. 10.07, while the selling rate is Rs. 10.12.

Other listed currencies include the Danish Krone, with a buying rate of Rs. 22.15 and a selling rate of Rs. 22.25. The Hong Kong Dollar is trading at Rs. 18.09 for buying and Rs. 18.17 for selling.

The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of Rs. 460.51 and a selling rate of Rs. 462.48, while the Bahraini Dinar is being bought at Rs. 373.00 and sold at Rs. 374.59. The Omani Rial’s buying and selling rates are Rs. 365.30 and Rs. 366.85, respectively.

For regional trade, the buying rate of 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at Rs. 160.00, with the selling rate at Rs. 160.15.

The central bank has noted that these rates are indicative and may be revised at any time as per market conditions. Rates offered by commercial banks may differ slightly, and the latest updates are available on the official website of Nepal Rastra Bank.
