Kathmandu–Manthali road blocked



KATHMANDU: Traffic movement has come to a halt along the Kathmandu–Manthali road after a section of the road subsided at Halede, Likhu Tamakoshi Rural Municipality-7.

Vehicles operating between Kathmandu, Charikot of Dolakha, and Manthali have been stranded midway due to the obstruction, according to local resident Sanjiv Chauhan.

Chief District Officer Shyam Krishna Thapa said efforts are underway to reopen the road.
