Today’s foreign currency exchange rates

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currencies for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is NPR 138.83, while the selling rate is NPR 139.43. The euro is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 162.19 and a selling rate of NPR 162.89.

Similarly, the buying rate for one UK pound sterling is NPR 187.67, and the selling rate is NPR 188.48. The Swiss franc stands at NPR 172.35 for buying and NPR 173.10 for selling.

For other major currencies, the buying rate for one Australian dollar is NPR 90.09, and the selling rate is NPR 90.48. One Canadian dollar is valued at NPR 100.52 for buying and NPR 100.96 for selling. The Singapore dollar is being bought at NPR 108.20 and sold at NPR 108.67.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.39, and the selling rate is NPR 9.43. One Chinese yuan is being bought at NPR 19.34 and sold at NPR 19.42. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying and selling rate of NPR 37.16, while the Qatari riyal is bought at NPR 38.09 and sold at NPR 38.26.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht is being traded at NPR 4.27 for buying and NPR 4.29 for selling. The UAE dirham stands at NPR 37.80 (buying) and NPR 37.96 (selling), while the Malaysian ringgit is at NPR 32.87 and NPR 33.01 respectively.

Additionally, one hundred South Korean won is being bought at NPR 9.99 and sold at NPR 10.04. The Swedish krona is trading at NPR 14.55 (buying) and NPR 14.61 (selling), and the Danish krone at NPR 21.73 and NPR 21.82 respectively.

The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rate of one Hong Kong dollar at NPR 17.79 for buying and NPR 17.87 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of NPR 454.24, while the Omani rial is bought at NPR 360.58 and sold at NPR 362.14. The Bahraini dinar is being sold at NPR 369.84.

Similarly, the exchange rate for one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling. The central bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as needed, and that commercial banks may offer different rates.
