Today’s foreign currency exchange rates

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the official foreign exchange rates for Sunday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs. 137.54 and the selling rate at Rs. 138.14. The buying rate of one Euro is Rs. 160.13 and the selling rate is Rs. 160.83.

Similarly, one UK Pound Sterling is being bought at Rs. 185.05 and sold at Rs. 185.85, while the Swiss Franc is being bought at Rs. 171.61 and sold at Rs. 172.36.

The buying and selling rates for the Australian Dollar are Rs. 89.71 and Rs. 90.10 respectively, while for the Canadian Dollar, they are Rs. 100.23 and Rs. 100.67. The Singapore Dollar is being bought at Rs. 107.18 and sold at Rs. 107.64.

For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is Rs. 9.26 and the selling rate is Rs. 9.30. The Chinese Yuan is being bought at Rs. 19.16 and sold at Rs. 19.25.

Likewise, the buying and selling rates of the Saudi Arabian Riyal are Rs. 36.67 and Rs. 36.83 respectively, while the Qatari Riyal is being bought at Rs. 37.73 and sold at Rs. 37.90.

According to the central bank, the Thai Baht is being bought at Rs. 4.25 and sold at Rs. 4.27. The buying rate of one UAE Dirham is Rs. 37.45 and the selling rate is Rs. 37.61. Similarly, the Malaysian Ringgit is being bought at Rs. 32.42 and sold at Rs. 32.56.

For 100 South Korean Won, the buying rate is Rs. 9.89 and the selling rate is Rs. 9.94. The Swedish Kronor is being bought at Rs. 14.23 and sold at Rs. 14.29, while the Danish Kroner is being bought at Rs. 21.46 and sold at Rs. 21.55.

The Nepal Rastra Bank has also fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong Dollar at Rs. 17.52 and the selling rate at Rs. 17.60. One Kuwaiti Dinar is being bought at Rs. 450.15 and sold at Rs. 452.12, while the buying rate of one Bahraini Dinar is Rs. 364.80. The Omani Rial is being bought at Rs. 357.24 and sold at Rs. 358.80.

Additionally, the buying and selling rates of 100 Indian Rupees are both fixed at Rs. 160.00.

The central bank has stated that these rates may be revised as necessary, and that exchange rates offered by commercial banks may differ. Updated rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
