Two killed, four injured in Doti jeep accident



DOTI: Two people died on the spot and four others were injured in a jeep accident in Sirasyani, Ward No. 1 of Adarsha Rural Municipality, Doti, on Friday afternoon.

According to the District Police Office, Doti, the jeep (Su Pra 01-001 Cha 1395) was en route from Adarsha to Mellekh when it lost control on an inner road and plunged 250 meters down a slope.

Police Inspector Ram Chandra Joshi confirmed that the identities of the deceased have not yet been established.

The four injured passengers have been rescued and taken to the Mellekh Health Post for treatment. The exact number of passengers aboard the vehicle is still unknown.

Rescue efforts are ongoing. A team led by Police Inspector Rajendra Bahadur Chand from the District Police Office has been deployed to the site.
