Committee formed to appoint TU Vice Chancellor



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Chancellor of Tribhuvan University KP Sharma Oli has formed a three-member recommendation committee under the coordination of Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Pant to select the next Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University.

The members of the committee formed today include member of National Planning Commission, Geeta Kumari Poudyal and Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Dr. Deepak Kafle, according to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

The post of Vice-Chancellor remains vacant since University’s outgoing Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Keshar Jung Baral resigned on March 25.
