PM Oli and Deuba hold talks at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba held a meeting at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

The two leaders are said to have discussed the latest political developments during their meeting.

Prime Minister Oli, who is currently unwell, was unable to attend a scheduled question-and-answer session in the House of Representatives, which was subsequently removed from the parliamentary agenda.

The appointment of the new governor has also been delayed due to internal disagreements among the ruling coalition partners. A cabinet meeting that was supposed to take place yesterday was postponed as well.

The meeting between Oli and Deuba was originally scheduled for yesterday but was deferred and held today instead.
