PM Oli misses HoR’s question session due to health issues

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been removed from Tuesday’s scheduled question-and-answer session with lawmakers in the House of Representatives due to health concerns.

According to the Speaker’s Secretariat, the Q&A session was dropped from the parliamentary agenda after PM Oli was reported to be unwell. The meeting of the House of Representatives began at 11 am on Tuesday.

Sources at the House of Representatives confirmed that the Prime Minister would be absent from the session due to health reasons, leading to the removal of the Q&A segment from the day’s schedule.

PM Oli’s health condition also led to the cancellation of Monday’s scheduled Cabinet meeting.
