Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister pays courtesy call on PM Oli



KATHMANDU: Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mihail Popsoi, currently visiting Nepal, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar today.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation in areas such as climate change, education, culture, and trade relations.

Prime Minister Oli highlighted the importance of enhancing partnerships and encouraged Moldova to participate in upcoming collaborative initiatives.

Prime Minister Oli also invited Deputy Prime Minister Popsoi to attend the Sagarmatha Sambad scheduled to take place in Kathmandu from June 2 to 4. The event will focus on climate change and security from the mountains to the sea.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister’s Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ganesh Prasad Dhakal, and other officials.
