UML holding first meeting of newly elected Central Committee



KATHMANDU: The first meeting of the newly elected Central Committee of CPN (UML) is being held today. This committee was elected during the party’s 11th General Cnvention.

The Convention held in Bhaktapur concluded on Thursday with the election of the party’s new leadership. The Central Committee meeting is scheduled for 1 PM at Karki Banquet, Babarmahal in Kahtmandu.

During this initial meeting, the committee is expected to discuss the party’s upcoming programs, the formation of the politburo, and the establishment of the standing committee.

The 11th General Convention elected a 301-member Central Committee under the leadership of Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
