Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published today’s foreign currency exchange rates. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at Rs 141.48 and the selling rate at Rs 142.08.

Likewise, the buying rate of one euro is Rs 163.86 and the selling rate is Rs 164.56, while one UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 185.95 and sold at Rs 186.74. The buying and selling rates for one Swiss franc stand at Rs 177.47 and Rs 178.22 respectively.

The bank has fixed the buying rate of one Australian dollar at Rs 91.99 and the selling rate at Rs 92.38; one Canadian dollar at Rs 100.83 and Rs 101.25; and one Singapore dollar at Rs 108.61 and Rs 109.07. The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.10 and the selling rate is Rs 9.14.

Similarly, one Chinese yuan is bought at Rs 19.89 and sold at Rs 19.98; one Saudi Arabian riyal at Rs 37.72 and Rs 37.88; and one Qatari riyal at Rs 38.81 and Rs 38.98.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.36 and the selling rate is Rs 4.38; one UAE dirham is Rs 38.52 and Rs 38.68; one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 33.98 and Rs 34.12; and 100 South Korean won are Rs 9.66 and Rs 9.70. The buying and selling rates for one Swedish krona stand at Rs 14.90 and Rs 14.96, and for one Danish krone at Rs 21.94 and Rs 22.03.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is set at Rs 18.17 and the selling rate at Rs 18.25. Likewise, one Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 460.74 and sold at Rs 462.70; one Bahraini dinar at Rs 375.26 and Rs 376.86; and one Omani rial at Rs 367.47 and Rs 369.02. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160 and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

The central bank stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as needed, and rates set by commercial banks may vary. Updated exchange rates are available on Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
