Gold and silver prices drop sharply



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has dropped by Rs 4,800 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market today.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers Association, gold is being traded at Rs 253,200 per tola, down from Rs 258,000 on Friday.

Similarly, the price of silver has declined, reaching Rs 3,275 per tola. In the international market, the price of gold has been fixed at 4,250 US dollars per ounce.
