Youth dies from electrocution while installing flashing lights in Birgunj



BIRGUNJ: A 17-year-old youth from Birgunj Mahanagar-1 Chhapakaiya died after being electrocuted while installing flashing lights at his home.

The deceased has been identified as Piyush Kumar Sah of Chhapakaiya Tole, Birgunj Mahanagar-1. According to Parsa Police Information Officer Hari Bahadur Basnet, Sah sustained serious injuries after coming into contact with live wiring while working on the roof of his one-story house on Saturday evening.

He was immediately rushed to Narayani Hospital in Birgunj but died en route. The body has been kept at Narayani Hospital for an autopsy as authorities continue their investigation.
