Two hospitals listed under health insurance programme



KAVRE: Two more hospitals in Kavre district have been enlisted under the national health insurance programme, bringing the total number of participating health facilities in the district to seven.

Banepa Basic Hospital, operated by Banepa Municipality, and Mandan Deupur Basic Hospital, run by Mandan Deupur Municipality, have been approved as first-contact service providers under the programme.

Representatives from both municipalities recently signed separate agreements with the Health Insurance Board to formalize their inclusion.

Following the agreement, Mayor of Mandan Deupur Municipality, Tok Bahadur Waiba, pledged to implement the health insurance programme effectively within his jurisdiction.
