NRB announces today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 139.47 and the selling rate is Rs 140.07.

The buying rate of one European euro is Rs 162.99, while the selling rate is Rs 163.69. Similarly, one UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 188.90 and sold at Rs 189.71. The buying rate of one Swiss franc stands at Rs 172.89, and the selling rate is Rs 173.63.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 90.83 and the selling rate is Rs 91.22. Likewise, one Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 101.11 and sold at Rs 101.55. The Singapore dollar is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 108.76 and a selling rate of Rs 109.23.

Likewise, the exchange rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.46 for buying and Rs 9.50 for selling. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 19.43 and sold at Rs 19.51.

The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 37.17, and the selling rate is Rs 37.33. Similarly, one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 38.26 and sold at Rs 38.43.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.30 and the selling rate is Rs 4.32. The UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 37.97 and sold at Rs 38.14. One Malaysian ringgit is being traded at Rs 33.03 for buying and Rs 33.17 for selling.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.07 and the selling rate is Rs 10.11. Similarly, one Swedish kronor is being bought at Rs 14.60 and sold at Rs 14.66, while one Danish kroner is being bought at Rs 21.84 and sold at Rs 21.93.

The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.84 and the selling rate at Rs 17.92. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs 456.50 for buying and Rs 458.46 for selling.

One Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs 369.94 and sold at Rs 371.53. Likewise, the buying rate of one Omani rial is Rs 362.26 and the selling rate is Rs 363.81.

The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 for both buying and selling.

The central bank has stated that these rates are subject to revision at any time as necessary. It also noted that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the updated rates will be available on Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
