Concerned ministers to respond to MPs’ questions in HoR



KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) under the Federal Parliament is scheduled to continue today. It will take place at 11 a.m. at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

According to the agenda, concerned ministers will respond to questions related to the Ministry of Home Affairs; the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens; the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport; and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development.

In addition, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Deepak Khadka, is slated to present a proposal to initiate a discussion on the Water Resources Bill, 2081, along with the report submitted by the Infrastructure Development Committee. He is also expected to table a proposal seeking the bill’s approval.

The Speaker is slated to read out a letter from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers concerning additional workload assigned to the House.
