Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for Monday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at Rs 136.52, while the selling rate is Rs 137.12.

Similarly, the buying rate for one European euro is fixed at Rs 152.40 and the selling rate at Rs 153.07.

The buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs 181.22, with the selling rate at Rs 182.02. For the Swiss franc, the buying rate stands at Rs 162.94 and the selling rate at Rs 163.66.

In the case of the Australian dollar, the buying rate is Rs 87.41 and the selling rate is Rs 87.80. The Canadian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 97.76 and a selling rate of Rs 98.18. Similarly, one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 105.03 and sold at Rs 105.49.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.37 and the selling rate is Rs 9.42. One Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 18.94 for buying and Rs 19.02 for selling.

The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 36.40 and a selling rate of Rs 36.56, while the Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 37.45 and sold at Rs 37.62.

According to the central bank, one Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.09 and sold at Rs 4.11. The buying rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 37.17, and the selling rate is Rs 37.34.

The Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 31.78 and sold at Rs 31.92. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs 9.76 and the selling rate is Rs 9.80.

The Swedish kronor is being traded at Rs 13.96 for buying and Rs 14.02 for selling, while the Danish kronor is bought at Rs 20.43 and sold at Rs 20.52.

Similarly, the Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.47 and the selling rate at Rs 17.55. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 444.04 and sold at Rs 445.99. The buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is Rs 362.12 and the selling rate is Rs 363.71. One Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 354.59 and a selling rate of Rs 356.15.

Additionally, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to change as needed.

It also noted that commercial banks may set slightly different rates, and the latest updates are available on the central bank’s official website.
