Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the official foreign exchange rates for today, Saturday.

The buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 136.30, while the selling rate stands at Rs 136.90.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one European Euro is Rs 155.03 and the selling rate is Rs 155.71. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling is Rs 180.96 and the selling rate is Rs 181.76. The Swiss Franc is being traded at Rs 166.58 for buying and Rs 167.31 for selling.

The Australian dollar has been valued at Rs 86.89 for buying and Rs 87.27 for selling. The Canadian dollar stands at Rs 98.38 for buying and Rs 98.81 for selling. The Singapore dollar is exchanged at Rs 103.91 for buying and Rs 104.37 for selling.

The Chinese yuan is being traded at Rs 18.66 for buying and Rs 18.75 for selling, while 10 Japanese yen is priced at Rs 9.58 for buying and Rs 9.62 for selling. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 36.33 and the selling rate is Rs 36.49. One Qatari riyal is priced at Rs 37.39 for buying and Rs 37.56 for selling.

The Thai baht is trading at Rs 4.08 for buying and Rs 4.10 for selling. The UAE dirham is set at Rs 37.11 for buying and Rs 37.27 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 30.88 for buying and Rs 31.02 for selling.

The buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is Rs 9.57 and the selling rate is Rs 9.62. The Swedish kronor is set at Rs 14.17 for buying and Rs 14.23 for selling, while the Danish kronor stands at Rs 20.76 for buying and Rs 20.85 for selling.

One Hong Kong dollar is being exchanged at Rs 17.56 for buying and Rs 17.64 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar has been set at Rs 444.54 for buying and Rs 446.50 for selling. The Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 361.61 for buying and Rs 363.20 for selling. The Omani Rial is priced at Rs 354.03 for buying and Rs 355.59 for selling.

Likewise, the central bank has set the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates can be revised at any time based on necessity. It has also noted that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary depending on open market conditions, and the latest updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
