Three parliamentary committees to hold meetings today

KATHMANDU: Three committees under the Federal Parliament are scheduled to hold meetings today. The meetings include the Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of the Directive Principles, Policies and Obligations of the state Committee; the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee; and the Committee for Legislation Management.

The meeting of the Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation Committee is set to take place at 10:30 AM in Singha Durbar. The agenda includes discussions on the annual report (FY 2079/080) of the Government of Nepal, as per Article 53 of the Constitution.

Similarly, the Public Policies and Delegated Legislation Committee will convene at 11:30 AM in Singha Durbar. The meeting is expected to focus on delegated legislation under the Tribhuvan University Act, 2049.

The Committee for Legislation Management will meet at 2 PM in Singha Durbar to hold discussions with the Attorney General regarding the Tilganga Eye University Bill, 2081.
