Cambodia–Nepal B2B Business Interaction Program 2026 in the offing

KATHMANDU: A Cambodia–Nepal B2B Business Interaction Program 2026 is set to be held with the objective of strengthening bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and cultural exchange between Nepal and Cambodia.

The program, scheduled to take place in Cambodia in the last week of Poush, will be organised by Juba Supplies and Maintenance Company Limited (JSM Cambodia), while Season Media of Nepal will manage the event.

Business representatives from Nepal, including officials from the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Nepal Chamber of Commerce, and entrepreneurs from the tourism, aviation, travel, manufacturing, technology, culture, and import-export sectors, are expected to participate.

Program Coordinator Ram Prasad Padhya said representatives from the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, Tourism and Hospitality Association, aviation companies, private investment groups, business organisations, and cultural and creative sectors will take part from Cambodia.

According to Padhya, the program will also serve as a platform for networking and experience sharing among businesspersons, entrepreneurs, artists, and innovators from various Asian countries.

Former President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Cambodia and businessman Lal Singh Khadka said the program is expected to further strengthen bilateral friendship, cultural diplomacy and tourism promotion between Nepal and Cambodia.

As part of the program, investment and business meetings, sectoral discussions, business networking sessions, and policy dialogues will be held between Nepali and Cambodian business communities. Opportunities for joint investment and collaboration will be explored in high-potential sectors such as tourism and hospitality, aviation, agriculture, manufacturing, real estate, cultural and creative industries, and digital innovation.

A key attraction of the program will be the presentation of the ‘International Excellence Award’, which will honour outstanding entrepreneurs, industrialists and institutions contributing to economic development, innovation and bilateral cooperation.

Program Manager Pradeep Raj Onta said the award aims to recognise the contributions of professional and institutional personalities across Asia while promoting international cooperation and cultural exchange.

Businessman Khadka said the program is not merely a business meeting but a platform for establishing long-term partnerships, expanding people-to-people relations, and laying the foundation for shared prosperity between Nepal and Cambodia. He expressed confidence that the initiative would make a meaningful contribution to promoting bilateral trade, tourism development and investment expansion.
