Heavy rainfall likely in five provinces today



KATHMANDU: Heavy rainfall is likely at one or two locations in the hilly and Tarai regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim Provinces today, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

With generally cloudy conditions prevailing across the country, moderate rainfall is also expected at several places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, and at a few locations in other parts of the country.

The Division forecasts that tonight’s weather will remain generally cloudy nationwide, with moderate rainfall likely at a few locations in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces, and isolated showers possible elsewhere.
