Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the official foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at Rs. 139.79, while the selling rate is Rs. 140.39. Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro stands at Rs. 163.53 and the selling rate at Rs. 164.23.

The UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs. 189.45 and sold at Rs. 190.26. For the Swiss franc, the buying rate is Rs. 173.34 and the selling rate is Rs. 174.08.

Similarly, the Australian dollar is being bought at Rs. 90.96 and sold at Rs. 91.35, while the Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs. 101.15 and sold at Rs. 101.59. The Singapore dollar is trading at a buying rate of Rs. 108.94 and a selling rate of Rs. 109.41.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.50, with the selling rate at Rs. 9.54. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs. 19.46 and sold at Rs. 19.55. The Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs. 37.25 and sold at Rs. 37.41, while the Qatari riyal is trading at Rs. 38.36 for buying and Rs. 38.52 for selling.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs. 4.31. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs. 38.06 and the selling rate is Rs. 38.22.

The Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs. 33.18 and sold at Rs. 33.32. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs. 10.06 and the selling rate is Rs. 10.11.

Additionally, the Swedish kronor is being bought at Rs. 14.62 and sold at Rs. 14.69, while the Danish kronor has a buying rate of Rs. 21.92 and a selling rate of Rs. 22.02.

The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs. 17.86 and the selling rate at Rs. 17.94. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs. 457.67 and sold at Rs. 459.63. The buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs. 370.78, while the Omani rial is being bought at Rs. 363.56 and sold at Rs. 365.12.

Likewise, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs. 160 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to change at any time as needed. It also noted that commercial banks may offer different rates, and the most up-to-date exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
