Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rates for foreign currencies for today (Tuesday).

The value of several foreign currencies, including the US dollar, euro, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar, has declined. Meanwhile, currencies such as the Australian dollar and the British pound have become more expensive.

As of today, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is 138 rupees 59 paisa, while the selling rate is 139 rupees 19 paisa. After remaining stable for two days, the US dollar has depreciated. Yesterday, the buying rate was 138 rupees 90 paisa, and the selling rate was 139 rupees 50 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate for 1 euro today is 151 rupees 12 paisa, and the selling rate is 151 rupees 77 paisa. Yesterday, the buying and selling rates stood at 151 rupees 13 paisa and 151 rupees 78 paisa, respectively.

The exchange rate for 1 British pound has risen to 179 rupees 78 paisa for buying and 180 rupees 56 paisa for selling. Yesterday, the rates were 179 rupees 65 paisa and 180 rupees 42 paisa, respectively.

Likewise, the buying rate for 1 Australian dollar is 88 rupees, while the selling rate is 88 rupees 39 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate was 87 rupees 83 paisa, and the selling rate was 88 rupees 21 paisa.

The value of the Kuwaiti dinar has declined, with the buying rate at 450 rupees 10 paisa and the selling rate at 452 rupees 05 paisa. Yesterday, these rates were 450 rupees 87 paisa and 452 rupees 82 paisa, respectively.

Similarly, the Bahraini dinar is trading at 367 rupees 64 paisa for buying and 369 rupees 23 paisa for selling. Yesterday, the rates were 368 rupees 47 paisa and 370 rupees 07 paisa, respectively.
