Nepali women’s cricket team announced for Uganda tour



KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has selected 18 players for closed camp training for a friendly cricket match to be held in Uganda.

A total of 18 players have been selected for training in the first phase for friendly cricket match to be hosted by the Uganda Cricket Association from March 6 to 17.

The team led by captain Indu Verma includes Rachana Kumari Chaudhary, Sana Prabin, Riya Sharma, Seemana KC, Shobha Rokaya, Rajmati Airi, Alisa Kumari Yadav, Sabnam Rai, Rubina Chhetri and Mamta Kumari Chaudhary.

Similarly, Kabita Joshi, Roma Thapa, Ishwori Bista, Samjhana Kumari Khadka, Pooja Mahato, Bindu Rawal and Manisha Kumari Upadhyay are others selected for the training.
