Bhim Rawal receives grand welcome in home district

KATHMANDU: Former vice-chair of the CPN-UML, Bhim Rawal, who was expelled from the party, received a grand welcome in his home district of Achham. Supporters greeted him in Safebagar with musical processions and the national flag.

After being removed from the party on December 26, Rawal announced the launch of the “Motherland Awakening Campaign” during a press conference in Kathmandu. This is his first visit to his home district since his expulsion.

Supporters carrying the national flag welcomed Rawal with music in Safebagar, and videos of the event have been shared widely on social media.

Tapendra Rawal, one of his supporters, shared the video on Facebook, stating, “The people of Achham are awakened; now it’s time to awaken the entire nation with the Motherland Awakening Campaign. Be ready, patriotic citizens.”

Rawal also received a warm reception from supporters in Muja Bazaar, Ramaroshan Rural Municipality, in Achham.
