KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that no significant weather systems are currently affecting Nepal.
The weather is expected to remain mainly clear across the country this afternoon. However, parts of the high hills and mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces may experience partly cloudy skies tonight. The rest of the country is expected to see generally clear conditions throughout the day and night.
In the Kathmandu Valley, the minimum temperature was recorded at 6 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 17 and 19 degrees Celsius, providing a mild winter day.
Meteorologists have advised residents to stay prepared for cooler temperatures in the morning and evening, particularly in higher altitudes, while enjoying sunny and pleasant daytime conditions.
