Fans enjoy night cricket for the first time in Nepal



KATHMANDU: Nepali cricket fans have been able to enjoy matches played under floodlights for the first time in Nepal. The opportunity came with the start of the second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), which introduced night-time cricket at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

The opening match of NPL-2 was played under floodlights on Monday, marking a significant milestone in Nepali cricket. According to the schedule, 23 out of the total 32 matches in this season will be held under lights.
