Minister Ghising visits home of Gen-Z movement martyr Maharjan



KATHMANDU: Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Physical Infrastructure and Transport, and Urban Development Minister Kulman Ghising on Wednesday visited the family of Binod Maharjan, who was declared a martyr of the Gen-Z movement.

At the family’s residence in Patan, Minister Ghising offered condolences and expressed solidarity with Maharjan’s relatives.

During the meeting, the family urged the minister to honor the sacrifices made by youths for the country’s transformation and called for proper state support to martyr families.

Minister Ghising assured that the government would move forward in line with the aspirations of the younger generation, stressing the urgent need for major national changes and the government’s commitment to pursue them seriously.
