No possibility of govt change: Chief Whip Bartaula

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula has stated that there is no possibility of a change in the current government.

Speaking to journalists at the Parliament building in New Baneshwor on Monday, Bartaula stressed that the government was formed based on national consensus, with the support of two major parties and other smaller parties.

He dismissed any discussions about changing the government or bringing in or removing any party from the coalition.

He claimed that rumors about a government change were being spread by those eager to join the administration.

According to him, the current government is functioning smoothly and will continue as it is.

Bartaula also mentioned that while CPN-UML is currently in a coalition with the Nepali Congress, the party is preparing to secure a majority in the 2084 elections.
