Trust Micro Insurance to issue IPO

KATHMANDU: Trust Micro Insurance is set to issue an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to the general public, offering 2.25 million shares worth a total of Rs 225 million.

This will represent 30 percent of the company’s paid-up capital.

The IPO will be priced at Rs 100 per share, and the company has appointed NIMB Ace Capital as the sales manager for the offering.

Trust Micro Insurance, which received its license for non-life small insurance on October 29, 2023, has been providing small non-life insurance services since March 14, 2024.

The move to go public is expected to strengthen the company’s capital base and expand its operations in the growing non-life insurance sector.
