Five shortlisted for chair of Nepal Insurance Authority



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Finance has released the names of five candidates shortlisted for the vacant post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nepal Insurance Authority.

The five candidates are Kamal Prasad Regmi, Chiranjivi Chapagain, Damodar Basaula, Ram Sharan Pudasaini, and Sharad Ojha.

The shortlist was finalized on Sunday, according to a public notice issued today. The committee responsible for the selection process has invited the shortlisted candidates for an interview scheduled for March 4 at 2 pm.

The position of Chair became vacant after former Chair Surya Silwal was charged with corruption.

Currently, Madan Dahal, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, is serving as the interim Chair.
