Gold and silver prices decrease in Nepali market today



KATHMANDU: Fluctuations in the international market have driven down the prices of gold and silver in Nepal, with both metals trading lower today than on Friday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Federation, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 6,900. A tola of gold is now priced at Rs 242,800, compared to Rs 249,700 last Friday.

Silver has also fallen by Rs 150 per tola and is being traded at Rs 3,135 today, down from Rs 3,285 on Friday.

International media report that gold is currently trading at US$ 4,085 per ounce in the global market.
