Minimum temperature in Kathmandu drops to around 9°C



KATHMANDU: Winter is gradually intensifying across the country, with temperatures falling and cold increasing. In Kathmandu Valley, the minimum temperature has dropped to nearly 9 degrees Celsius on Sunday morning.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature was 9.3°C at 5:45 am today. “Yesterday at this time it was 9.6°C and later dropped to 9.2°C by 8:45 am,” it said. “Today it was 9.3°C at 5:45 am and is expected to decrease further by 8:45 am.”

The Division records daily minimum and maximum temperatures for Kathmandu and other regions, with the minimum measured at 8:45 am and the maximum at 5:45 pm.
