Nepal Rastra Bank releases today’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs. 139.79, while the selling rate is Rs. 140.39.

The buying rate for one euro stands at Rs. 163.39, with a selling rate of Rs. 164.09. One British pound sterling is being bought at Rs. 189.57 and sold at Rs. 190.38. Similarly, the Swiss franc is being bought at Rs. 173.47 and sold at Rs. 174.21.

The Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 91.05 and a selling rate of Rs. 91.44. The Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs. 101.37 and sold at Rs. 101.80, while the Singapore dollar’s buying and selling rates are Rs. 109.01 and Rs. 109.48, respectively.

For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is Rs. 9.51 and the selling rate is Rs. 9.55. The Chinese yuan is being traded at Rs. 19.47 for buying and Rs. 19.56 for selling.

Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs. 37.26 and sold at Rs. 37.42, whereas the Qatari riyal is available at Rs. 38.35 for buying and Rs. 38.52 for selling.

The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs. 38.06 and a selling rate of Rs. 38.22. The Thai baht is being bought at Rs. 4.31. The Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs. 33.18 and sold at Rs. 33.32. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs. 10.07 and the selling rate is Rs. 10.11.

The Swedish kronor is being traded at Rs. 14.62 for buying and Rs. 14.69 for selling, while the Danish krone is priced at Rs. 21.89 for buying and Rs. 21.99 for selling.

According to NRB, the Hong Kong dollar is being bought at Rs. 17.88 and sold at Rs. 17.95. The Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs. 457.59 and a selling rate of Rs. 459.56.

The Bahraini dinar is priced at Rs. 370.77 for buying and Rs. 372.36 for selling. The Omani rial is being bought at Rs. 363.09 and sold at Rs. 364.64. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs. 160.00, while the selling rate is Rs. 160.15.

The central bank has stated that these rates are subject to revision as necessary. Exchange rates offered by commercial banks may vary, and the most recent updates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
