Mohan Baidya’s health improving significantly

KATHMANDU: Mohan Baidya, General Secretary of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Nepal, is showing significant improvement in his health after nearly a month of treatment for a chest infection.

Baidya is currently undergoing care at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj. According to his daughter, Chetana Sharma, his condition has notably improved after treatment at both BP Smriti Hospital in Basundhara and the Teaching Hospital.

“He was treated for almost a month, first at BP Smriti and then at the Teaching Hospital. His health has improved considerably,” Sharma said.

Baidya had been admitted to the hospital nearly a month ago after developing a chest infection. For about 15 days, he was kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). His condition has since stabilized, and he has now been shifted to the general ward.
