RPP to forfeit parliament allowance for boycotted session

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has decided not to accept the parliamentary allowance for the House of Representatives session held on Sunday, June 15, which they boycotted.

RPP Chief Whip Gyanendra Shahi sent a letter to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, requesting that the allowance for that day be returned to state revenue, as the party rejected it due to their boycott of the House of Representatives meeting.

The RPP had boycotted the session in protest of the meeting continuing despite opposition concerns regarding the visit visa issue.
