Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



 

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Monday), with mixed trends observed across major currencies.

While the US dollar remained stable, the value of several other currencies—including the euro, British pound, Australian dollar, and Bahraini dinar—has increased compared to the previous day.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar today is NPR 137.44, and the selling rate is NPR 138.04—unchanged from yesterday.

Today, the euro is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 158.78 and a selling rate of NPR 159.47, up from yesterday’s rates of NPR 158.03 (buying) and NPR 158.72 (selling).

Similarly, the buying rate of one British pound has risen to NPR 186.44, while the selling rate stands at NPR 187.26. Yesterday, the rates were NPR 185.96 and NPR 186.77, respectively.

The Australian dollar also saw an increase, with today’s buying rate at NPR 89.17 and the selling rate at NPR 89.56, compared to yesterday’s NPR 88.94 and NPR 89.33.

In contrast, the Kuwaiti dinar saw a slight decline, with today’s buying rate at NPR 449.15 and selling rate at NPR 451.11, down from yesterday’s NPR 449.75 and NPR 450.96.

The Bahraini dinar recorded a slight increase, trading at NPR 364.47 (buying) and NPR 366.06 (selling), up from yesterday’s NPR 364.27 and NPR 365.86.

Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates are subject to revision as necessary and that commercial banks may offer slightly different rates. The most updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
