Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for today (Wednesday), showing a mixed trend in major international currencies.

The value of the US dollar, euro, pound sterling, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar has declined, while the Australian dollar has appreciated.

As of today, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is NPR 136.94 and the selling rate is NPR 137.54, marking a slight increase after remaining stable for the past three days.

Yesterday, the buying and selling rates stood at NPR 137.37 and NPR 137.97 respectively.

Similarly, the euro is being traded at NPR 155.06 for buying and NPR 155.74 for selling, down from yesterday’s NPR 156.46 and NPR 157.14.

The pound sterling is currently valued at NPR 181.12 for buying and NPR 181.91 for selling, slightly lower than yesterday’s rates of NPR 181.27 and NPR 182.07.

In contrast, the Australian dollar has seen an increase, with the buying rate at NPR 87.09 and the selling rate at NPR 87.47, compared to yesterday’s NPR 86.87 and NPR 87.25.

The Kuwaiti dinar has also depreciated slightly, with today’s buying and selling rates at NPR 446.36 and NPR 448.32 respectively, down from yesterday’s NPR 447.93 and NPR 449.89.

The Bahraini dinar is being traded at NPR 363.29 for buying and NPR 364.88 for selling, a slight decrease from yesterday’s rates of NPR 364.43 and NPR 366.02. These changes reflect ongoing fluctuations in the international currency market, as tracked and published daily by Nepal Rastra Bank.
