Chief Justice, Communications Minister, UML Vice Chair inquire about health of DPM Paudel, Mayor Acharya



KIRTIPUR:  Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung and CPN (UML) vice chair Yuvaraj Gyawali have inquired about the health condition of Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel and Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhanraj Acharya who are undergoing treatment at Kirtipur Burn Hospital.

The Chief Justice, Minister Gurung and Vicechair Gyawali visited the hospital this afternoon to inquire about their health condition.

The Minister of Communications and Information Technology was informed about the health condition and treatment process of Minister Paudel and Mayor Acharya by the doctors involved in the treatment, including the director of the hospital, Dr Kiran Kishore Nakarmi.

After receiving information about their health condition, Minister Gurung told the media that the doctors informed him that the health of both of them was heading towards normalcy.

DPM Paudel and mayor Acharya were injured while flying balloon at the inauguration programme organized for the promotion of tourism in Pokhara on Saturday.

Both are being treated in intensive care units.
