Verdict on MP Toshima Karki delayed again

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has postponed its verdict on whether MP Dr. Toshima Karki will retain her position.

Karki, elected from Lalitpur-3, has been facing a legal dispute since January, when a case was filed against her.

The Election Commission had initially invalidated her candidacy, but she was allowed to contest the election following an interim order from the Supreme Court. However, a final decision on the matter has yet to be reached.
