NRB releases today’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 144.37, while the selling rate stands at Rs 144.97.

Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro is Rs 169.50 and the selling rate Rs 170.20. The UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 193.05 and sold at Rs 193.85, while the Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 181.38 and a selling rate of Rs 182.13.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 96.04 and the selling rate Rs 96.44. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 104.82 and sold at Rs 105.26, while the Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 111.75 for buying and Rs 112.21 for selling.

For Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.26 and the selling rate Rs 9.30. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.46 and sold at Rs 20.55. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 38.47 and a selling rate of Rs 38.63, while the Qatari riyal is priced at Rs 39.61 for buying and Rs 39.77 for selling.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.57 and the selling rate Rs 4.59. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 39.31 and sold at Rs 39.47. The Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs 35.21 for buying and Rs 35.35 for selling.

The South Korean won stands at Rs 9.79 for buying and Rs 9.83 for selling. The Swedish krona has a buying rate of Rs 15.57 and a selling rate of Rs 15.64, while the Danish krone is being bought at Rs 22.69 and sold at Rs 22.79.

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.55 and the selling rate at Rs 18.62. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 470.65 and sold at Rs 472.61, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 382.97 for buying and Rs 384.56 for selling, and the Omani rial at Rs 374.98 for buying and Rs 376.54 for selling.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15. The central bank stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that rates offered by commercial banks may vary, and the latest updates are available on Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
