Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 141.78, while the selling rate stands at Rs 142.38.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Euro is Rs 163.85, with a selling rate of Rs 164.54. One British Pound Sterling is being bought at Rs 188.16 and sold at Rs 188.95. The Swiss Franc stands at a buying rate of Rs 176.32 and a selling rate of Rs 177.07.

The Australian Dollar has been set at Rs 91.50 for buying and Rs 91.89 for selling, while the Canadian Dollar is at Rs 100.79 and Rs 101.22, respectively. One Singapore Dollar is being bought at Rs 108.96 and sold at Rs 109.42.

The exchange rate for 10 Japanese Yen is Rs 9.33 for buying and Rs 9.36 for selling. One Chinese Yuan is being traded at Rs 19.86 for buying and Rs 19.94 for selling. Similarly, the Saudi Arabian Riyal is being bought at Rs 37.80 and sold at Rs 37.96, while the Qatari Riyal stands at Rs 38.90 for buying and Rs 39.06 for selling.

According to the central bank, one Thai Baht is being exchanged at Rs 4.32 for buying and Rs 4.34 for selling. The UAE Dirham is set at Rs 38.60 and Rs 38.76. One Malaysian Ringgit is traded at Rs 33.52 for buying and Rs 33.66 for selling, while one South Korean Won is valued at Rs 9.88 and Rs 9.93, respectively.

The Swedish Kronor stands at Rs 14.85 for buying and Rs 14.92 for selling, and the Danish Krone is being bought at Rs 21.94 and sold at Rs 22.03.

The buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar is Rs 18.24 and the selling rate is Rs 18.31. One Kuwaiti Dinar is being exchanged at Rs 461.79 for buying and Rs 463.75 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar is set at Rs 376.09 and Rs 377.69, while the Omani Rial is valued at Rs 368.24 for buying and Rs 369.80 for selling.

Meanwhile, the buying rate for one hundred Indian Rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, with the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

The Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates may be subject to revision as needed. Additionally, rates offered by commercial banks may vary. The latest updates are available on the central bank’s official website.
