Three newly appointed ministers take oath of office



KATHMANDU: Three newly appointed ministers have officially taken the oath of office and secrecy at a special ceremony held at the President’s residence, Sheetal Niwas.

President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath to Kulman Ghising as Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation; Om Prakash Aryal as Minister for Home and Law; and Rameshore Khanal as Minister for Finance.

Prime Minister Sushila Karki had appointed the three ministers on Sunday evening.

Kulman Ghising, Om Prakash Aryal and Rameshwor Khanal take oath of office.

Before his ministerial appointment, Ghising served as the Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority. Aryal was previously a legal advisor to Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah, while Khanal is a former Finance Secretary.
