Muslim Commission submits annual report to President Paudel



KATHMANDU: Acting Chairperson of the Muslim Commission, Mahamdin Ali, submitted the Commission’s annual report for the fiscal year 2024/25 to President Ramchandra Paudel during a ceremony held at the Office of the President on Friday.

On the occasion, President Paudel emphasized the importance of upholding the dignity of all citizens, noting that Nepal is a multiethnic, multilingual, multireligious, and multicultural nation.

“We must move forward on the foundation of equality and coexistence, fostering goodwill, solidarity, and social harmony by respecting our cultural diversity,” the President stated.

He further remarked that the responsibilities of the Muslim Commission are of great significance and expressed confidence that the Commission would carry out its mandate effectively in the days ahead.
