Prachanda calls for impartial investigation into Oli

KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party, has said that the investigation into KP Sharma Oli should be conducted in a fair and impartial manner.

Speaking to journalists on Sunday at the party office in Paris Danda, Dahal said the probe into the chair of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) must proceed without political bias or prejudice.

He also noted that the issue of investigating the assets of former prime ministers had previously been raised by his party in parliament, adding that such scrutiny would be helpful.

Dahal further said he had not yet reviewed the government’s proposed 100-point governance reform agenda, and that he would comment on it only after studying the details.
