Four people die in separate incidents in Dang



DANG: Four individuals have lost their lives in two separate incidents in Dang district.

Two teenagers from Tulsipur drowned while swimming in the Babai River near Purandhara Chhahara in Babai Rural Municipality-4. The victims have been identified as 17-year-old Bidhan KC and 16-year-old Kushal Budhamagar, both residents of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-2.

According to Dev KC, Police Chief at the Hapure Area Police Office, the boys had gone swimming with friends when they drowned. Their bodies have been taken to Rapti Provincial Hospital in Tulsipur for post-mortem examination.

In another incident, two youths died in a motorcycle accident on the Sisnekhola bridge along the Rampur–Ghorahi road. The victims were identified as 18-year-old Rohit BK and 16-year-old Nishan BK, both from Gadhwa Rural Municipality-8.

District Police Office spokesperson Chakra Bahadur Shah said the motorcycle (registration number Ra 7 Pa 3270), heading from Rampur toward Ghorahi, lost control and crashed at Sisnekhola, Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City-4, at around 7:00 PM.

Both victims died while undergoing treatment at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences in Ghorahi. Their bodies are currently being kept at the same hospital, police confirmed.
