Nepal Rastra Bank sets today’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rates of foreign currencies for today (Tuesday).

Today, the prices of most foreign currencies—including the US dollar, Australian dollar, euro, pound, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar—have increased.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of 1 US dollar today is 137 rupees 28 paisa, and the selling rate is 137 rupees 88 paisa. The price of the US dollar, which had remained stable yesterday, has increased today.

Yesterday, the buying rate of 1 US dollar was 136 rupees 99 paisa, and the selling rate was 137 rupees 59 paisa.

Similarly, today the buying rate of 1 euro is 160 rupees 56 paisa, and the selling rate is 161 rupees 26 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate of 1 euro was 160 rupees 14 paisa, and the selling rate was 160 rupees 84 paisa.

The buying rate of 1 pound sterling today is 185 rupees 15 paisa, and the selling rate is 185 rupees 96 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate was 184 rupees 94 paisa, and the selling rate was 185 rupees 75 paisa.

Likewise, the buying rate of 1 Australian dollar today is 90 rupees 19 paisa, and the selling rate is 90 rupees 59 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate was 90 rupees 14 paisa, and the selling rate was 90 rupees 53 paisa.

The buying rate of 1 Kuwaiti dinar today is 449 rupees 45 paisa, and the selling rate is 451 rupees 41 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate was 448 rupees 12 paisa, and the selling rate was 450 rupees 08 paisa.

The buying rate of 1 Bahraini dinar today is 364 rupees 15 paisa, and the selling rate is 365 rupees 74 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate was 363 rupees 38 paisa, and the selling rate was 364 rupees 97 paisa.

The Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary.

It has also clarified that commercial banks may set slightly different rates, and the most updated figures are available on the central bank’s official website.
