Pedestrian dies after being hit by motorcycle



SURKHET: A pedestrian has died after being hit by a motorcycle traveling from Kalimati in Nalgad Municipality, Jajarkot, to Aathbiskot in Rukum Paschim.

The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old Kailo BK of Gatta Saina, Aathbiskot-11, Rukum Paschim. He was struck by a motorcycle (Karnali Province 02001 Pa 6556) driven by Narayan Singh of Barekot Rural Municipality-8 in Chamekhet, Nalgad-7, on Saturday morning.

BK, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, died during treatment at Mission Hospital in Chaurjahari, Rukum Paschim, according to Police Assistant Inspector Yamraj Rokaya of the Area Police Office, Dalli. The police have taken Singh, the motorcycle rider, into custody.
