KATHMANDU: House of Representatives (HoR) Speaker Devraj Ghimire has called a meeting of the chief whips of major parties.
The Speaker’s Secretariat stated that the meeting will take place at Singha Durbar at 9 a.m. on Sunday. The agenda includes discussions on the parliamentary calendar and other important issues.
The parliamentary schedule, including budget discussions, has been disrupted due to opposition parties obstructing parliament since Jestha 13.
The session resumed last Friday after the main opposition party, the Maoist Center, agreed to reopen the parliament.
