HoR meeting taking place, Ship Bill to be tabled



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) under the Federal Parliament is set to take place on Sunday. According to the Parliament Secretariat, the session will begin at 11 a.m. at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

The main agenda includes tabling the Ship (Operation and Management) Bill, 2081, along with a message received from the National Assembly, where the bill originated.

In addition, Ramhari Khatiwada, Chairperson of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, will present the committee’s report on the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2082.

Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will also present a proposal to initiate a general discussion on the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year 2082/083, along with an accompanying statement.
